Abstract
During spring 2019, Professor Jim Martin integrated Domain of One’s Own into his Praxis Fieldwork Seminar, Promoting Change Thru Service, as a new method for students to present about their experiences to a wider audience. This work served as a pilot project in the Praxis Program; specifically focusing on Praxis Independent Study and Fieldwork Seminar courses. In this brief presentation, Nathalia Santos (LITS) and Kelly Strunk (Praxis) will share some insights related to process, lessons learned, and future considerations for incorporating these kinds of projects into Praxis courses.
